Cruise Control Module (CCM): Removal

  1. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover . Refer to: Front Bumper Cover - Vehicles With: SVT Performance Package . Refer to: Front Bumper Cover - GT500 .
  2. NOTE: Gently pry the CCM (cruise control module) from the retaining studs.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the CCM from the bracket.

  4. Inspect the CCM grommets for damage. Replace any damaged grommets

  5. If bracket removal is required, separate the wiring harness retainer from the CCM bracket.

  6. Remove the CCM bracket.
    1. Remove the CCM bracket bolt.

      Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

    2. Remove the CCM bracket bolt.

      Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

    3. Remove the CCM bracket nut.

      Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

    4. Slide the CCM bracket left and then down.
