Pinpoint Test Cw : P1A0C, P1A0F:00

  1. NOTE: The Inverter System Controller (ISC) is referred to as the SOBDMC (Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Control Module C) in the scan tool.

    Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

REFER to: Electric Powertrain Control - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
SOBDMC P1A0C:00 Hybrid Powertrain Control Module - Engine Disabled: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the ECM detects the generator torque is out of range.
SOBDMC P1A0F:00 Hybrid Powertrain Control Module - Vehicle Disabled: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the vehicle has been disabled due to excessive failed engine start attempts with low HV Battery State of Charge (SOC).

    Possible Sources

    • Engine system

  2. CW1 CHECK THE TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL

Is the transmission fluid level within specification?

Yes  REFER to: Electronic Engine Controls . Regardless of DTC P01A0C being present in the ECM.
No  If the fluid level is too high, drain to the appropriate level, CLEAR the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs and REPEAT the self-test. The DTC is expected to set for fluid too high and no further action is required after draining the fluid. REFER to: Transmission Fluid Drain and Refill . If the fluid level was too low, check for potential internal transmission damage (excessive noise, fluid contamination, vibration issues). REFER to: Transmission Fluid Drain and Refill .
