Selector Lever Cable: Installation

NOTE: Gearshift cables must not be kinked or bent.

Attach a pull cord to the selector lever cable. Use the General Equipment: Draw CordUse the General Equipment: Adhesive Tape

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to: Selector Lever Cable Adjustment - 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F35 . Refer to: Selector Lever Cable Adjustment - 8-Speed Automatic Transmission - 8F35/8F40 .
