Particulate Matter Sensor: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Pickup shown, chassis cab similar. The Particulate Matter sensor and the module component location is different between the chassis cab and the pickup model wheel base.

NOTE: If reusing the original sensor, Bostik Never-Seez Regular Grade (nickel free) antiseize thread-lube needs to be applied. Brush a uniform layer of the recommended nickel free antiseize to the threads. Take care not to get any lube below the flange of the probe.

NOTE: Use of anti-seize with nickel could contaminate the sensor.

Install Particulate Matter module and sensor assembly.

Material: Bostik Never-Seez Regular Grade (nickel free) Anti-Seize and Lubricating Compound

Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
