Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Removal

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
  1. Download the module information to the diagnostic tool using the Programmable Modules Installation routine. Refer to: Module Programming .
  2. Disconnect the PCM electrical connectors. Release the harness retainers from the lower PCM cover to position aside the harnesses.

  3. Release the retaining clips and remove the PCM cover.

  4. Remove the nuts and the PCM.

    Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
