Cruise Control Module (CCM): Removal

Cruise control module (CCM)

NOTE: If installing a new CCM (cruise control module), it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new CCM (cruise control module) after installation.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the CCM following the onscreen instructions.
- Release the clips and remove the CCM front bumper trim cover.
- Disconnect the CCM electrical connector.

Remove the CCM.
- Release the CCM base bracket top clip.
- Slide the CCM up and out of the CCM base bracket.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the CCM following the onscreen instructions.
- Remove the front bumper. Refer to: Front Bumper .
- Release the clips and remove the CCM front bumper trim cover.
- Disconnect the CCM electrical connector.
- Remove the CCM bolts and the CCM and base bracket.
Torque
: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
