Main Control Cover: Installation
- Inspect the main control cover seal for damage and install new if necessary.
- Install the main control cover and the stud bolts.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Position back the wiring harness, install the wiring harness retainers and the nut.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
- Connect the transmission electrical connector.
- Rotate the connector latch until it locks in place.
- Slide the locking clip back to its original position.
- Attach the coolant hose to the starter motor bracket.
- Install the LH intake pipe, tighten the clamps.
Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
- Install the lower radiator support and the bolts.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (24 Nm)
- Install the retainers and the front under body shield.
- Install the underbody shield and the retainers.
- Remove the tie straps and install the radiator guide pins.
- Install the radiator sight shield and the push pins.
- Install the battery. Refer to: Battery
- Install the RH intake pipe and tighten the clamp.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

- Position the RH intake pipe and install the bolt.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Install the clamp.
- Attach the retainer.
- Position the RH intake pipe and install the bolt.
- Connect the turbocharger bypass valve electrical connector and attach the wire harness retainer to the mounting stud.
- Install the RH air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe RH
- Install the LH air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe LH
- Fill the transmission with transmission fluid. Refer to: Transmission Fluid Level Check
