Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU): Installation

Install the HCU and the 3 HCU bracket bolts.
Torque

: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Bleed the brake system. Refer to: BRAKE SYSTEM PRESSURE BLEEDING .
1. If a new HCU/ ABS module was installed, using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the ABS module following the on-screen instructions.
2. If a new HCU/ ABS module was installed, carry-out the ABS Calibration, the ABS Brake Sysytem Pressure Bleeding and the HCU Coil Solenoid Calibration using a diagnostic scan tool and following the scan tool on-screen instructions.
