- Adaptive steering system failure.
- Lost communication with the IPC.
- An airbag deployment or fuel cutoff event has occurred.

- RETRIEVE all SECM DTCs and GO to the SECM DTC Chart.
- If there are no DTCs present in the SECM, DIAGNOSE the red adaptive steering system warning indicator. REFER to the Instrumentation, Message Center and Warning Chimes article
