Vehicle Dynamics Control Module (VDM): Removal

NOTE: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Position the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
2. Remove the pushpins, the screws and the rear underbody shield.

3. Remove the VDM
   1. Disconnect the VDM electrical connector, unclip the wire harness and position it aside.
   2. Remove the retainers and the VDM.

      Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
