Body Control Module C (BCMC): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. NOTE: If the BCMC (body control module C) did not respond to the diagnostic scan tool, As-Built Data may need to be entered as part of the repair. This step is only necessary if the BCMC (body control module C) is being replaced.

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the BCMC following the on-screen instructions.

  2. Disconnect the battery. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
  3. Release the tabs and remove the BCMC access cover.

  4. Remove the nut and position aside the wiring junction block.

  5. Loosen the BCMC bolts.

  6. Release the tabs and position the BCMC up from the bracket.

  7. Remove the electrical connectors and the BCMC.
