Gear Shift Module (GSM): Installation

  1. Install the GSM and the bolts.

    Torque: 4.5 Nm

  2. Connect the GSM electrical connector.

  3. Install the GSM bolt access panel.

  4. Install the GSM stow mat.

  5. Install the floor console top trim panel.

    1. Connect the electrical connectors.
    2. Attach the top floor console trim panel clips.

  6. Close the floor console door.

  7. Install the FCIM and bolts.

    1. Connect the electrical connectors.
    2. Torque

      : 2.5 Nm

  8. Install the floor console upper LH trim panel.

  9. Install the floor console upper RH trim panel.

  10. Install the center finish trim.

    • Connect the electrical connector.

  11. NOTE: 12 inch screen shown below, 10 inch screen is similar.

    Install the upper centerstack bezel.

  12. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    Using the scan tool, carryout the PMI procedure to install the latest strategy files. Refer to: MODULE PROGRAMMING
