Stability Assist/Traction Control Switch: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE: Left hand drive (LHD) shown below, right hand drive (RHD) similar.

All vehicles 

  1. Open the floor console storage compartment lid.

    10-Speed Automatic Transmission - 10R80 

  2. Release the clips and position the shifter boot and plate. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  3. Release the clips and position the shifter boot and plate. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

    Vehicles equipped with a parking brake lever 

  4. Remove the screws and the parking brake lever trim cover.

  5. Release the clips and remove the parking brake lever bezel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

    All vehicles 

  6. On both sides. Release the clips, separate the magnet and remove the floor console front lower trim panel.

  7. On both sides. Remove the screws.

  8. Release the clips and position the floor console upper trim panel aside.

  9. Remove the media bin liner.

  10. Remove the screws, release the clips position the media bin disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the media bin.

    Torque: 2.5 Nm

  11. Release the clips, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the centerstack trim panel.

  12. Release the tabs and remove the stability assist/traction control switch and audio controls assembly.
