Image Processing Module A (IPMA) Camera: Removal

NOTE: The rear view mirror front cover has a tether clip that does not allow the cover to fully be removed.

NOTE: Components Removed for Clarity.

Release the tabs and position the rear view mirror front cover downward.Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

Remove the interior rear view mirror cover assembly.
1. Release the interior rear view rear cover tabs and the clip from the tether clip.Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
2. Rotate the tether clip line to align the end with the opening in the interior rear view mirror rear cover.
3. Slide the tether clip end out of the interior rear view mirror rear cover.
4. Rotate the interior rear view mirror cover assembly around the interior rear view mirror.

Disconnect the IPMA camera electrical connector.

1. Release the tab.
2. Release the tab and remove the IPMA camera.
