Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM): Removal

All Vehicles 

1. The fuel pump driver module is located on the front side of the crossmember above the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Charging and Controls - Component Location
2. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Tank

   Full Body 

3. Disconnect the fuel pump driver module electrical connector.

4. Remove the bolt and the retainer, then remove the fuel pump driver module.

   Chassis Cab 

5. Disconnect the fuel pump driver module electrical connector.

6. Release the fuel pump driver module retaining tab, then remove the fuel pump driver module from the bracket.

7. Only if needed, remove the fuel pump driver module bracket bolts, then remove the bracket.
