Description & Operation
If drivers seat belt is not buckled and ignition is turned to "ON" or "START" position, seat belt warning system will turn on "FASTEN SEAT BELTS" indicator light and sound buzzer for 4 to 8 seconds. If the drivers belt is buckled after buzzer sounds, buzzer will remain on until timer turns it off. When ignition is turned to "ON" position, current is supplied through timer to buzzer circuit and indicator light circuit. Light will always remain on until timer turns off current. Buzzer will only sound if single space drivers seat belt is not buckled before turning on ignition.
NOTE:
Ford two point seat belt system does not have a warning system. (Lap belts only).
