Section 6 (Wheel Alignment Specifications & Procedures): Adjustment: Camber

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 14 other vehicles, including the 1983 GMC Vandura Special, 1983 GMC Vandura, 1983 GMC Value Van, 1983 GMC Rally Camper Special, and 1983 GMC Rally. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Camber is changed by adding or subtracting shims from between upper control arm shaft and frame bracket. Adding an equal number of shims at both front and rear of cross shaft will decrease positive camber.

NOTE: By adding or subtracting equal amounts of shims, camber may be corrected without affecting caster.
