Cooling System Maintenance: Cleaning

Good cleaning compound will remove most rust and scale. Follow manufacturer's instructions in use of cleaner. If considerable rust and scale have to be removed, flushing will be necessary. Clean radiator cooling fins by blowing out with compressed air from back to front of radiator.
