Choke Rod

Attach a rubber band to tang of intermediate choke shaft. See Fig 1. Open throttle and allow choke valve to close. Install choke valve gauge and set to specification. See CHOKE VALVE GAUGE .
Place fast idle cam follower on second step of fast idle cam against shoulder of highest step. If cam follower does not contact arm, turn fast idle speed screw until it does.
Bubble in choke valve gauge should be centered. If not, bend tang on fast idle cam until bubble is centered.
