Washer Inoperative (Pulse System)

  1. Disconnect washer pump motor connector. Turn ignition switch to ACC position. Connect test light between ground and Pink wire terminal of washer pump connector with WASH button pushed. See Figure . If test light does not come on, go to step 3).
  2. If test light comes on, connect test light between Pink and Black wire terminals of washer pump connector with WASH button pushed. If test light comes on, replace washer pump. If test light does not come on, repair open in Black wire between washer pump and ground.
  3. Connect test light between ground and Gray wire terminal of wiper motor connector with WASH button pushed. If test light does not come on, replace wiper switch. If test light comes on, connect test light between ground and Orange wire terminal of wiper motor connector.
  4. If test light does not come on, replace delay module or wiper motor. If test light comes on, check for open in Orange wire between wiper motor and wiper switch. If wire is okay, replace wiper switch.
