Test 1: All Windows Inoperative
- Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Check for current Body Control Module (BCM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). If any current BCM DTCs exist, perform appropriate test in accordance with DTC(s) retrieved. See appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article. If no current BCM DTCs exist, go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Turn radio on. If radio operates, go to step 6 . If radio does not operate, go to next step.
- Disconnect Retained Accessory Power (RAP) relay. RAP relay is located in Left Bussed Electrical Center (LBEC). See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Connect a test light between ground and RAP relay connector terminal 87A (Red wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 5 .
- Replace RAP relay. Retest system operation.
- Repair open in Red wire between RAP relay connector terminal 87A and ignition switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Retest system operation.
- Disconnect Left Bussed Electrical Center (LBEC) connectors C1 and C4. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Using a test light connected to ground, backprobe LBEC connector C1 terminal A9 (Dark Green wire) and LBEC connector C4 terminal "K" (Dark Green wire). If test light illuminates at both terminals, go to step 8 . If test light does not illuminate at both terminals, go to next step.
- Replace PWR WDO circuit breaker (25-amp) located in LBEC. Retest system operation.
- Check for open in Dark Green wire between LBEC connector C1 terminal A9 and right power window switch. Check for open in Dark Green wire between LBEC connector C4 terminal "K" and master switch assembly. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary and retest system.
