Installation Procedure
- Install new gaskets.
- Install the EGR valve pipe (2).NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the retaining bolts (4).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
- Install the EGR valve pipe-to-cylinder head bolts (3) to the right side head.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
- Install the nuts (1) to exhaust manifold.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
