Floor Console: Removal

  1. Remove the shift handle retaining clip at the front of the handle. See Figure. Remove the shift handle from the gearshift lever.
  2. Open the console lid. Remove the console compartment inserts. See Figure. Remove the transmission select switch (if equipped). See Figure.
  3. Remove the nuts that retain the rear of the console. Remove the cup holder insert.
  4. Remove the screws that retain the front of the console to the vehicle. See Figure. Remove the console from the vehicle.
