Installation Procedure

  1. Install the ground strap.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the ground strap bolt to the cowl.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the ground strap to cowl bolt to 17 N.m (12 lb ft).

  3. Raise the vehicle.

  4. Install the ground strap nut and bolt to the engine.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the ground strap nut and bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
