Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable (3) from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Disconnect the positive (+) battery cable (1) from the positive (+) battery terminal.
Remove the bolt (4) and the battery hold down bracket (2).
Remove the battery (5) from the vehicle.
