Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING - AWD in General Information.
Reach up under the rear fascia to locate the backup lamp housing.

Remove the backup lamp socket, from the backup lamp housing, by turning counterclockwise.
Remove the backup lamp bulb from the lamp socket.
