Removal Procedure

Open liftgate.
Remove trim panel service hole cover. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate .

Disconnect the license lamp electrical connector.
Remove the license plate lamp bulb, turning counterclockwise.
Squeeze the tabs on each side of the license plate lamp (1).
Remove the license plate lamp (1) from the liftgate (2).
