Installation Procedure

  1. Remove the caps or the plugs from the brake pipes.

    IMPORTANT: Consult the parts catalog for the brake pipe routing illustrations and the part numbers.
  3. Install the brake pipe (1) and the fittings (2).
  4. Install the brake pipe to the brackets as necessary.
  5. Install the brake pipe retainers (3) as necessary.
  6. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
  7. If you removed a tire and wheel assembly, install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  8. If you raised the vehicle, lower the vehicle.
  9. Inspect the hydraulic brake system for leaks. Repair as necessary. Refer to Brake System External Leak Inspection .
