Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift lever (1) to the steering column.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the screw (2) that retains the shift lever to the steering column.

    Tighten 

    1. Tighten the screw to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  3. Install the shift lever seal to the upper steering column trim cover.
