Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .

  2. Remove the fan clutch assembly in a counterclockwise direction using the J 46406  . See Special Tools .
  3. Remove the fan clutch assembly from the vehicle.

  4. Remove the fan blade mounting bolts.
  5. Remove the fan blade from the fan clutch.
