Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

  2. Open the fuse block cover.
  3. Remove the starter and generator cable nut (1).
  4. Reposition the starter and generator cable (2).

  5. Remove the positive battery cable nut (1).
  6. Loosen the positive battery cable nut and remove cable (2).

  7. Remove engine wiring harness junction block cable nut (1).
  8. Remove the fuse block wiring harness terminal nuts (2).
  9. Reposition the wiring harness terminals (3).

  10. Unclip the fuse block tabs (1) and remove from the battery.
