Installation Procedure

  1. Inspect the brake caliper guide pins and seals for damage or corrosion and replace, if necessary.

  3. Install the brake caliper guide pin seals (1).

  5. Install the upper brake caliper guide pin (1).
  6. NOTE:

    The lower brake caliper guide pin is equipped with a bushing and must be installed in the same location.

  7. Install the lower brake caliper guide pin (2).
  8. Position the brake caliper over the brake pads and to the caliper bracket.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  10. Install the brake caliper guide pin bolts (1) and tighten to 34 N.m (25 lb ft).
  11. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
