Installation Procedure

  1. Install Starter (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Starter Mounting Bolt (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  3. Connect Electrical Connector (2) @Starter Solenoid (3)

  4. Install Battery Positive Cable (3)
  5. Install Battery Positive Cable Fastener (1) @Starter Solenoid (2) and tighten 13 N.m (115 lb in)
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
