Removal Procedure

NOTE:

Always replace disc brake pads in axle sets.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Fig 1: Disc Brake Pad Pin Clips

  4. Remove the disc brake pad pin clips (1).
  5. Fig 2: Brake Caliper Pins

  6. Carefully drive out the brake caliper pins (1) from the brake caliper.

  8. Remove the brake pad spring (1).
