Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the spare tire.
  3. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement .
  4. Support and lower the rear differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement .
1 Clutch Drum Control Module Screw (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
15 N.m (133 lb in)
2 Clutch Drum Control Module Connector
3 Clutch Drum Control Module

Procedure

  1. Record the Clutch Control Module RDS number (a). It is located on the Clutch Control Module harness connector. This number will be needed for the calibration procedure. Read the number as shown.
  2. Program the clutch control module. Refer to Control Module References .
