Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Driver Side)

WARNING:

Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector.
1 Front Side Door Window Regulator Fastener (Qty: 5)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedures

  1. Release the 2 front side door window retainer clips. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Driver Side) Front Side Door Window Replacement (Passenger Side) .
  2. After detaching window from regulator, manually move window to the full up position and tape to frame.

Tighten 
11 N.m (97 lb in)
2 Front Side Door Window Regulator

Procedures

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Transfer and reprogram the window regulator motor. Refer to Window Motor Programming - Express Function .
NOTE:

Inspect the door window for proper operation before installing the door trim.
