Installation Procedure

  1. GM4378468

    Battery Negative Cable (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Battery Negative Cable Ground Fastener (1) - Install and tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
  3. Retainer (3) - Engage (Qty: 3)
  4. GM4285808

    Battery Negative Cable (2) - Install

  5. Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Fastener (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  6. GM4285190

    Battery Negative Cable (3) - Install

  7. Use an open ended wrench to hold the battery sensor ground tab, while tightening the battery negative cable nut. (2)
  8. Battery Negative Cable Nut (1) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
