Removal Procedure
Generator Shield (3) - Remove - Generator Shield Replacement
Install the generator nut (1) and finger tighten.
Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect
Drive Belt (1) - Remove - Drive Belt Replacement
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Protective Cap (1) - Remove
- Generator Nut (2) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable (3) - Remove
Generator Nut (1) - Remove
- If necessary, remove the generator mounting stud (2).
- Generator (3) - Remove
NOTE:
Anti-rotation tab is in the 12 o'clock position (arrow).
