Installation Procedure

  1. GM4573536

    Generator Splash Shield (3) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Generator Nut (2) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  3. Generator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  5. GM4573531

    Generator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  6. Lower the vehicle.

    Air Cleaner Assembly (1) - Install - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

  8. GM4362656

    Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct (2) - Install - Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement

  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
