Installation Procedure

    Install the battery.(1)

    Battery Hold Down Retainer(2) - Install

    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Battery Hold Down Retainer Rod (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Battery Hold Down Retainer(2) - Install

  5. Battery Hold Down Retainer Nut(1) - Install and tighten22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Front Compartment Fuse Block(3) - Install

  7. Engage the retaining tabs. (2)
  8. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut(1) - Install and tighten4.5 N.m (40 lb in)

    Battery Positive Cable(1) - Install

  10. Front Compartment Fuse Block Cable Nut(2) - Install and tighten15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  11. Close the battery fuse block cover.(3)
  12. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
