Installation Procedure

  1. Battery (3) - Install

  2. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Battery Hold Down Retainer Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Install

  5. Battery Hold Down Strap Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 6 N.m (53 lb in)
  6. Retainer (3) - Engage
  7. Install the engine control module bracket. Engine Control Module Bracket Replacement
  8. Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (2) - Install - Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (LCV, LGX) , or Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (LSY)

  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
