Initialization/Teach Procedure

NOTE:

There are two positions in the close switch. The first detent is the close position. The second detent is the express close position. When performing the Initialization/Teach Procedure, the switch must be held in the close position, which is the first detent.
If the switch is held for more than 10 s after the glass or sunshade has completed the Initialization/Teach Procedure, the sunroof may enter a "stuck switch" fault condition. If this happens, repeat the Initialization/Teach Procedure, making sure to release the switch when the sunroof glass panel has stopped moving.

Ignition ON and the glass panel is in full closed position, press and hold the close switch (first detent) for greater than 15 s. The glass panel will open to vent, go to fully open, and then the fully closed position. Once the sunroof glass panel has closed, release the switch.
