Installation Procedure

Push the trailer hitch assembly (1) into the vehicle.
Connect the electrical connector.

Install the left and right trailer hitch plates (2).

CAUTION:

Install the six bolts (1) and tighten to 100 N.m (74 lb-ft).

Install the trailer hitch retaining nuts (1) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb-ft).
Install the right and left exhaust rear muffler insulators to the trailer hitch. Exhaust Muffler Replacement (LTG, LYX)
Install the rear bumper fascia. Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Equinox) , or Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Terrain)
