Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
It will be necessary to rotate and maneuver the generator in order to install.
Generator (4) - Install
- Stud (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Generator Nut (2) - Hand tighten
- Electrical Connector (3) - Connect
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Stud (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Starter Solenoid Cable (2) - Install
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
- Lower the vehicle.
Generator Nut (1) - Remove
Generator Shield (3) - Install - Generator Shield Replacement (LTG)
- Drive Belt (1) - Install - Drive Belt Replacement
Evaporative Emission Front Hose (1) - Install - Evaporative Emission Front Hose Replacement
Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (1) - Install - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube Replacement
Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (1) - Install - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement
- Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
