Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

NOTE:
The assist step control module bracket nuts, are stamped to the assist step control module bracket.

Using a inverted Torx bit, loosen the 3 assist step control module bracket bolts (1) by turning in the clockwise direction.

Slide upwards and remove the assist step control module bracket (1), from the slots in the frame.

Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect [ 3x ]

Assist Step Control Module Bolt (1) - Remove [ 2x ]

NOTE:
The assist step control module nuts (3) are stamped to the bracket.

Remove the assist step control module (2) from the assist step control module bracket (1).
