Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Drive Belt - Remove - Drive Belt Replacement
Generator Shield (2) - Remove - Generator Shield Replacement
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Generator Nut (3) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Remove
- Starter Solenoid Cable (1) - Remove
- Generator Bolt (4) - Remove
- Lower the vehicle.
Generator Nut (2) - Remove
- Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect
- If necessary, remove the generator mounting stud (1).
- Generator (4) - Remove
