Removal Procedure

    Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  2. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Left Side (1) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove [4x]

  4. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator - Left Side (2) - Remove

    The On - Board Diagnostics Bolt. (1) - Remove [2x]

  6. Remove the On - Board Diagnostics (2) from the Instrument Panel Knee Bolster.
  7. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (3) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

  9. Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  10. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (2) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  12. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Deflector (2) - Remove

    Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module Bolt (1) - Remove

  14. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  15. Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module (2) - Remove
