Installation Procedure

    Clean around the mating surface of the seal with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water by volume on dampened lint-free cloth.

  2. Windshield Frame Weatherstrip (1) - Install
  3. Starting at one end of the windshield frame weatherstrip (1) seat the windshield frame weatherstrip at all the contact points.
  4. Install the retainers as necessary.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Windshield Frame Weatherstrip Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:

    If required, adjust the roof lift off panel/window front striker for proper roof lift off window alignment and closing efforts.

    Roof Lift Off Panel/Window Front Striker (1) - Install

  7. Roof Lift Off Panel/Window Front Striker Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  8. Using a clean towel and isopropyl alcohol, remove the grease pencil markings.

    Sunshade - Install [2x]

  10. Install the retainer that attaches the sunshade to the windshield upper garnish molding (1) on both sides of the vehicle.
  11. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Sunshade Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

  14. Sunshade Retainer Bolt Cover (1) - Install [2x]

    Windshield Upper Garnish Molding Clip (1) - Install [4x]

    Sunshade Support (2) - Install [2x]

  17. Sunshade Support Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  18. Close the sunshade support bolt access covers on both sides of the vehicle.

    Install the windshield multifunction sensor mount bracket cover (1) ensuring the retaining tabs are fully seated.

    Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Insert (1) - Install

  21. Apply pressure upward on the windshield multifunction sensor mount bracket cover insert (1) to engage the retaining tabs.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  23. Windshield Garnish Molding (1) - Install [2x]

    Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  25. Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Cover (1) - Install [2x]

    Body Hinge Pillar Garnish Molding (1) - Install [2x]

  27. Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.

    Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover (1) - Install [2x]

    Center Roof Lift Off Panel (1) - Install

    Center Roof Lift Off Panel Nut (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:

    Slide the left and ride side roof lift off windows (1) inward to engage the roof lift off panel/window rear locating pins (2).

    Gently lower the roof lift off window (1) to engage the removable top locating pin (2) on both sides of the vehicle.

    Rotate the roof lift off pane/window rear latch (1) inward until full travel is reached on both sides of the vehicle.
