Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Ensure the bottom corners of the windshield do not come in contact with the hood hinges during installation. Damage to the windshield will occur.

    Windshield (1) - Install - Adhesive Installation of Windshields 

  2. With the aid of an assistant, install the windshield (1) and locating pin (2) to the vehicle.

    Clean the inside of the windshield before installing the windshield multifunction sensor mount bracket (1).

  4. Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket (1) - Install

    Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor (1) - Install NEW

  6. Connect the electrical connector.

    Front View Camera (1) - Install

  8. Slide the front view camera (1) forward to engage and rotate the front view camera upward and secure the retaining tabs.
  9. Connect the electrical connector.

    Inside Rearview Mirror (2) - Install

    11. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  11. Inside Rearview Mirror Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  12. {If equipped} Connect the electrical connectors.

    Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover (1) - Install

  15. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling

    NOTE:

    Verify that the air inlet grille panel is fully seated to the windshield.

    Air Inlet Grille Panel (1) - Install

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Install [6x]

    Windshield Washer Pump Hose (1) - Connect

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield - Left Side (1) - Install

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Install [3x]

    Front Compartment Rear Sight Shield - Right Side (1) - Install

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Clean the windshield wiper pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the windshield wiper arms (3)

  25. Windshield Wiper Arm (3) - Install [2x]
  26. Windshield Wiper Arm Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  27. Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap (1) - Install [2x]

    If required, realign the windshield wipers to their respective alignment circles (1) on the windshield.

  29. Lubricate the windshield with clean washer fluid.
  30. Run the windshield wipers for two complete cycles then turn off the windshield wipers.
  31. Ensure the windshield wipers are in the full park position.
