Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the knob upper cover (A).

  2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the console upper cover (A).

  3. Disconnect the main connector (A).

  4. Disconnect the shift lever connectors (A).

  5. After loosening the mounting screws and bolts, remove the shift lever (A).

  6. Disconnect the console connectors (A).

  7. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the console side cover (A).

  8. Remove the console armrest tray (A).

  9. Remove the console armrest service cover (A).

  10. Loosen the console armrest mounting bolts.

  11. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the floor console assembly (A).

  12. Disconnect the multimedia jack connectors (A).

  13. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
